Inspired by the architecture of traditional Japanese Shinto temples, which give rise to the name “Torii”, it stands out on account of the “tectonic” qualities of the base, composed of two slightly inclined metal elements. The elegant design is completed by the rigorous top which is available in wood, ceramic or marble. The formal qualities of this elegant dining table designed by Marconato & Zappa emerge forcefully in the version which offers a single-material finish both for the top and the decorative inserts of the legs.
